I Knew they blew when they had JOE'S in "SUPERMAN" suits doing flippy's and shit! But comon!! If it looks like a kkk hood take out the point?? Right I mean if anything dull it down. Why do this? I really dont get it. Im not a hardcore fan but I loved the Joe's as a kid. I had the comics too. Betcha springfield (a city where COBRA is based outta) is a bakery or something. I will not give my money to these movies anymore. Everyone bitches and blogs but you all spend the cash and go see transformers and streetfighter and other movies YOU KNEW where crap. I say STOP cause hollywood thinks that screwing up great things IS WORKING!!!

If you never watched the old cartoon. It in many ways wasn't to kiddie looking back at it. I mean the first and orginal cartoon movie for G.I.Joe has Cobra a terrorist organization attacking New York in the openning. I do believe something happened in real life to somewhat mirror this.

As for Cobra Commander helmet sucks for the up coming movie. The old hood design was far better. My wife is black and I am Jewish and take no offense to the orginal hood. The thing with Cobra Commander in the orginal cartoon. Terrorism really didn't have a face to be seen. I think in many ways that is far more scary to see a guy that is going to try to kill you, but you never see his real face.

Those making the movie doesn't understand the cartoon or comics at all. I am not looking forward to this movie. I think it will hurt the G.I.Joe license more then anything.

I mean some stuff being taken out isn't a bad thing. I would like Cobra Commander not to be yelling "retreat" loudly and often in the middle of a fight. Also, if any of you were real fans you would know there is a guy who is the Doctor and not Cobra Commander. Cobra Commander isn't even human.

Transformers is fake and made to look real. Why couldn't they do the same for G.I.Joe? It would seem that all the creative thoughts were left out when making G.I.Joe the rise of cobra.

The problem I have seen with these figures in the store is that they look cheap. Really cheap. they didn't even use the same molds as the previous g.i. joe figures. They now bend mid torso rather than at the hips and their heads look shrunken... they did the same thing when they tried revamping he-man and its toy line.

The story about Cobra Commander having 12 eyes was for the animated movie that came out in 1986. It is the most argued fact about G.I.JOE. This is the problem when a cartoon is made into a live action feature. I hate this version of Cobra Commander. He looks nothing like C.C. at all. I am so pissed because they absolutely screw this whole thing up for me. i will probably get his on DVD due to the fact that I am a hardcore fan and purist. It has Street Fighter written all over it !!!!

Why am I looking at his eyes and where are the rest of his eyes. This is going to be like Spiderman 3 isn't it. Where they kept showing Topher Graces face instead of Venom's face.
