  • Josh · 1 year ago
Danny Huston and Liev Schreiber... that right there is enough to make me see it even if I wasn't already a huge fan of the Wolverine character and Xmen as a whole. (Say what you will about the last movie, Jackman's Wolverine is an amazing character)
  • SUNand3Stars · 1 year ago
I am such an edgy blowhard(no homo)...dumb hypernerds...
  • Andrew Aiello · 1 year ago
that shot of leiv and jackman in front of a shooting squad makes me think they're going to have a comical argument while being shot and the soldiers realizing that one shot just won't do it. and then comically firing into both repeatedly as they ignore the gun squad.
  • FilmBookdotCom · 1 year ago
if this film has authentic war scenes it could be interesting, not just a studio cash in.
  • Aqualeo · 1 year ago
I can not wait for this to be released.
  • EVGNick · 1 year ago
    I completely agree!
  • OliveHill · 1 year ago
they added liam neeson to this movie??? Hey .... Hey... Batman wants his bad guy back!

Whats with that dude who always plays a dick? (The other guy in all these photos) Does that mean that in wolverines back story wolverine is a dick.?

HJ... Why you go and do use like that?

What i have been hearing isnt great about this movie but i am a sucker for Wolverine!!
  • blinkbornz · 1 year ago
These pictures are from Empire Magazine's feature on the film. A few days old now. Still brilliant though.
  • Liam · 1 year ago
These images were in the Empire article, along with the new Gambit image.
  • tmill · 1 year ago
what, you want him to be part of the civil war, or how about the revolutionary war? will that make you happy? it's around the time the comic came out, so that was the war that was a big influence, so just shove it you twat. and to warrenmoney... who cares.

btw, this movie will be great.

  • the last bampf · 1 year ago
seriously, i want to understand. is this double irony. irony collapsing into itself or just bad grammar. hmmmmmmmmm, i need a nap.
  • Candice · 1 year ago
Then why are you on this site you dumb fuck? You, apparently have some interest in the comic book entertainment scene to be here. You seem to be one of those assholes that are so full of themselves they think their opinion is the ONLY opinion. Get real.

    this will be awesome
  • 5-15-9 · 1 year ago
Wow! Sep11 can time travel! He (she?) has already seen the movie. Thanks for saving us 10 bucks for a ticket.
  • clever name · 1 year ago
im gonna wolverine all of myself when i see this
  • WarrenMoney · 1 year ago
If they got Cotton Weary in the film, I'll watch it! Seriously though...Bryan Singer should have swallowed his pride and come back to do this. The design of the bacta tank looks NOTHING like the one in X2 or even in the flashbacks in X1.

I'll watch it, but I won't like it (sept11th: just goes to show there's idiots all over the world.)
  • CaptainAwesome · 1 year ago
That WW2 shot is hilarious. I'm so sick of that war in both film and video game.

Is there some sort of media mental block that there isn't a war other than D-Day or Vietnam used as some sort of story backdrop? I'm assuming these are the only two wars famous enough to let people know these characters are really really "old"?
  • Pill · 1 year ago
He will always be 100% Cotton to me.
  • JessWIlder · 1 year ago
Wow, I got a feeling this movie is going to just totally ROCK!

looking great and i cant wait.
  • JohnG · 1 year ago
Wolverine as a comic book character is way way over-rated and very boring.
Jackman as Wolverine makes him worth watching. i dont know if the film will be anygood but it's better than any comic book with Wolverine.
  • lolfucku · 1 year ago
    hahaha
  • Andthanwhat · 1 year ago
I just hope they stay true to the origin story and have it at least partially set in Canada...but i could see them jut turning him american to appease the masses.
  • the last bampf · 1 year ago
too bad all the hypernerds and idiots can't be edgy blowhards like the rest of us. ain't that right, 911?
  • Ifritto · 1 year ago
Me too! I hope he's got some mad lines during his cameo
  • empty wallet · 1 year ago
too bad he didn't foresee those planes coming. future sight as only applies to comic book movies, is that a talent or a curse?
  • Emm · 1 year ago
these stills aren't very interesting. They better come out with a kick-ass trailer if its goin to grab some attention. (i wasn't' very impressed with the comic-con one either)
  • dlb · 1 year ago
This means that wolverine has been into Tank Tops, Jeans, and Boots for more than half a century
  • zig · 1 year ago
it actually looks really bad. hopefully these are production stills. kinda clean for "weapon x".
  • _Freddie · 1 year ago
Looks fantastic.. really solid. Hugh Jackman is a fantastic actor and w/ the addition of Liam Neeson, all signs are pointing towards a great film. If you've got a good story and good actors.. lock it up.
  • nomad · 1 year ago
Liam Neeson isn't in this movie - i don't see his name in the cast. Do you mean Liev Schrieber? because he isn't bad either.

Americans who can kick your ass buddy
  • billy the dragon · 1 year ago
Obviously you haven't read a Marvel comic book for the past 15 years. Wolverine is one of their franchise characters, possibly even bigger then Spider-Man. Don't believe me? Check out how many of the monthly books he appears in (New Avengers, X-men, Astonishing X-men, just to name a few). You know you'll see this movie... you hypernerd you.
  • britfooka · 1 year ago
Americans are too fat to move and will most likely be busy watching this crap to kick anyone's ass

are you an american or a american't?
  • AllyndDudnikov · 1 year ago
Feels good man. (Gotta love that meme, give my love to moot and the rest of /b/)
  • AllyndDudnikov · 1 year ago
I still want to see the Merc with the mouth.
  • SUNand3Stars · 1 year ago
    haha...but neither...
  • sickoftv · 1 year ago
Um... Wolverine (either as Logan or Weapon X) actually FOUGHT in the European theater of WWII, so that shot is actually x-men cannon, not some attempt by the studio to capitalize on WWII mania.
  • Park · 1 year ago
    Will.I.Am? Whaaaaa?
  • CaptainAwesome · 1 year ago
"actually FOUGHT in the European theater of WWII"

haha, how come I didn't see him in Saving Private Ryan?!?!
  • CaptainAwesome · 1 year ago
    lol
  • Bobbio · 1 year ago
Too fat to move? I must have missed the memo. (Gets up to go get fatter).
  • Nathan · 1 year ago
The supernerd in me wants to say that Wolverine was introduced in an issue of Incredible Hulk in the 1970s.
  • YoungZer0 · 1 year ago
    Apparently Wolverine never shaves.
  • september11th · 1 year ago
this movie looks and will be awful. nobody actually cares about wolverine except hypernerds, yet it will make money because america is full of idiots who will pay for the same movie over and over again.
  • James · 1 year ago
They had better restore his Canadian-ity, OR ELSE!
  • CaptainAwesome · 1 year ago
I could have sworn I read about the first massive amoeba war in science class.

    you intergalatic giant nerds.
Do you all wack off to nerd books?

    Nerds.
  • CaptainAwesome · 1 year ago
Batman punches them off when kicking his ass.
  • tmill · 1 year ago
yeah, issue 180 in 1974. soo, about 20 years after WWII, and a year or so before the end of the Vietnam. so, like i said, it was still influential on many comics at that time, and obviously it is still influential on many things. They could have had him fight in Vietnam, but then he wouldn't have been wolverine by that time. he would have been just a regular guy, with a regular skeleton and a bad attitude.

  • Captain_Howdy · 1 year ago
Wait, wait, wait.... what are you saying? There were OTHER wars?!!
  • ntopics · 1 year ago
Hugh Jackman staring in this movie coming soon?
Wolverine must have really did well in the X-men to
    get this movie produced.

    thanks from tony
  • Brian · 1 year ago
Although a lot more people than you think like Wolverine, I partly agree. The X-Men series was handled terribly on film and just stank to Jupiter and back. I don't believe this film will be any better either.
  • IRONMAN · 1 year ago
    Aussies make the best superheroes!
  • anonymous · 1 year ago
this isnt true. do you not see the man walking off the landing craft smoking a cigar and holding a tommy gun in one hand? if this doesnt give you an action orgasm then you can just move to france.
  • Freddy · 1 year ago
Me so horny to see this film. I think I will fuck an uber-nerd while watching hunk Hugh Jackman tear his clothes off!!
