If this re-make comes to fruition, please include Taimak in the movie! He need to be the teacher in the movie!!! You can't do The Last Dragon without Taimak!!

Taimak who played Leroy was too yummy i could just eat him up, Hope they
get someone just as tasty, Fav movie from the 80's. I am def down for the
remake. I think alot of people from that time frame will get a kick out of it
just as well as the new youngsters.

I dont know, making a remake of this movie would be the same as making a remake of Micheal jacksons Thriller video.

Some classics should nto be screwed with.

Insted they should make sequal, with Leroy as the master, and a student who thinks he has reached the final level.

God I could write the script right now with rush of ideas that just hit me.

Okay, the first time I saw this movie, I fell in love with the whole fantasy story. It was filled with action, comedy, and the little romance story was sweet too. I want to know if Taimak and Vanity will also star. Oh yes, and Johnny (don't know his real name yet :) ) too? There has to be sometype of scene / scenes that contain these stars.... Looking forward to seeing the remake ;)

BUST RHYMES should have played sho'nuff -- he remade the character in one of his vides back in the 90's. As long as Meagan Good is not playing Laura Charles I may go see it. I'm tired of old black women playing teenagers.

Heard this rapper from Atlanta got the Leroy role. Heard RZA liked his Last Dragon Mixtape so much that he cast him or is about to. Has anyone else heard this? I checked him out. His name is Ozy Reigns. The mixtape is really good. Made me want to go out and experience the movie all over again, which I did shorty after.

Lets look at the next generation. Sho Nuff and Eddie Arcadia has been in jail long enough to have created some evil plots to get back at Leroy. Sho Nuffs in prison whipping up on everyone who thinks they're tough and Eddie's money has grown. He's now richer than ever before. Mean while Leroy has continued in the way of the peaceful warrior we all know and loved, with a few new discoveries in the golden glow. Just thinks the action all starts in the weeks before Sho and Eddie are released from prison. When Sho give Sho Jr. AKA Busta Rhymes the go ahead. all Im asking for is 1%of the movie round trip plane tickets for two and all acommindations paid for for the world premere. I'll give you the rest for free. The last Dragon 2 can be out of this world!!!!! all this can be negotiated at the drop off a dime.

I think they should go with someone like Pooch Hall from the tv show "The Game". He has a background in boxing and martial arts, he's young, fresh, hip, up and coming, he has a fan base and is extremely talented.
