I have much higher hopes for a movie based game when the movie is good and the game isn't released simultaneously with the movie. Although, I'm sure it will be mediocre at best. We can only hope it doesn't flop.

I hope it's like the spider-man 2 game; with a free roaming city and story missions and all of that. But the Spider-man 2 game was a bit repetitive, so i hope the missions are unique and different most of the time, and lets hope they throw in lots of cool villains an lots of things to blow up!!!

i think they should make a batman dark knight game so you can play the whole game as batman then try the whole game as joker and adding a free roaming mission. the thing i would want changed i don;t know if u guys played batman begins but when you play as batman he runs like a total idiot so i would like him to run normally in the batman dark knight if they make one

A free roaming Batman Game would be brilliant if it was done right, Spiderman 3 was a fairly game, and is a great half an hour play if you just want to mess around the city, jump off buildings and generally have a laugh gta style. However keeping in mind the recent Superman Returns disaster, and the Iron Man game that wanted to be air combat game with absolutely no controlability and the pannache of Duke Nukem 64; A FR game would have to have a solid story line, and enough gadgets to either, climb, glide or drive to your destination.

Just my opinion though!

Goldeneye is still the best movie tie in game btw, but the LOTR games were fairly good as well!

I wonder if it will be like devil may cry 4 where half way you switch between good and evil everyone wants to play batman with all the gadgets and his motorcycle but who wouldn't wanna play badass as cool as joker

I'm hoping that this is all fact. Because I keep on hearing that they are making a NEW batman game based off how ASSASSINS CREED and Batman Begins run. I'm just hoping this is the rumors for the Dark Knight game. Oh if they had Character changes that would make it great Play throught storyMode as Batman and Joker as well as having a completely different playing style for each character.

They need to make the Batman Game just like GTA. A free roaming action packed RPG of some kind. Let the play develope the story. The batman game could be cool if you were batman and your job was to catch mob members and the occasional big baddy would show up and reak havoc. They could make it super cool....very much like GTA with bruce wayne and the batcave and pod and mobile.....could be great....but wont happen

That would be a good idea for a multiplayer aspect of a Batman game. One being the Joker, the other Batman trying to stop him. Set up objectives and you as the Joker need to try and somehow execute them.

Like a glorified hide n' seek. But a good Batman game isn't impossible. Hell you could even add in RPG-like elements into it for solving cases and helping people in a specific way. You can easily set it up to really have people "feel" like you're the caped crusader. Imaging jumping off the top of a building in Gotham and executing the perfect dive into a nother buildings window to take out some hostage taker and his goons?

I'd love to see something like Grand Theft Auto 4, except Batman. That almost has the same feel as the film. Especially considering that Gotham City was a major character of the movie. But I think they should allow you to play as Batman OR The Joker. One that goes on missions to fight crime, the other causing anarchy.

For once I would love a good Batman game that lives in the modern console world.

Something that has the vicious fighting system of Ninja Gaiden. With the giant, sprawling, city of GTA 4.

I complied all the behind the scenes footage and all the viral marketing campaign ads that were made for this film and every thing else i could find about the movie in to a time line of how it all went down!!! it's pretty amazing seeing how they did alot of it... but yea.. seeing how they are making a game means i can even add more things to the timeline!!!! check the thing out at capzles.com

I would love to see a decent free-roaming Batman game based on the movies. The Batman Begins game was awful and the only other free-roaming Batman game was based on the shittiest batman movie ever (Of course i'm talking about Batman Forever), the only thing that blew me away was that you could really play detective and find out through left evidence when and where the next enemy is going to attack.

I have to admit, I'm a sucker for games based on Superhero movies. Especially when the talent from the film is involved. I actually really liked the Batman Begins game and was very surprised they didn't make a Dark Knight game. Now, I can't wait!!
